Konar Valley, Eastern Afghanistan 6th of May 2009: A Medevac helicopter is on its way to a mission in the Konar Valley in Eastern Afghanistan. The crew is on stand by as Apache helicopters, US ground troops as well as Afghan Army soldiers are moving in on Taliban insurgents after an observation post at Bari Alai near Nishagam was run taken by Taliban insurgents. Two US soldiers as well as several Afghan Army soldiers were killed during the attack.
